This is surprisingly easy to do. All you need is a fashion figure (I have linked some below), some cotton buds, diluted food dye, a bowl and some pencils. Step 1First you need to get your food dye, water and bowl. Then add about 2 tablespoons of water, give or take, and then add a few drops of food colouring. Then dip your cotton buds into the solution. Then let them dry before moving onto the next step. Step 2Print out your fashion figures. then colour it in however you want. Step 3This is the best part. Now you need to position all the cotton buds on the fashion figure in a dress shape. You will know when it's done. Bonus dresses! This is also very easy and fun to do! You will again need a fashion figure (linked above), scissors, a pencil and an imagination. Step 1First you need to trace the outline of the dress you want. This won't take too long. Step 2Now you need to cut out the dress outline. use some scissors or an x-acto knife. Cut a hole in the middle, then work you way to the edges. Step 3Now all you need to do is find cool backgrounds for the dress. I used paintings and wooden flooring. Share your dresses with me on instagram, facebook or twitter!
This is for an assignment, but I thought I would upload it here. So what I decided to do is find a french outfit, and re-create. I set a $100 budget and I had to get all the pieces of clothing. I originally wanted to only use $50, but it was not enough. Before I decided on an outfit, I made an inspiration board This is the outfit I chose to recreate. Her name is Lou Doillon. She is a singer, model and actress. She was born on the 4th of September 1982, so she is now 33. Her dad is a director and her mum is a singer/actress. Her dad helped to start her career, by casting her in "Trop (Peu) d'Armour". She also got a role as her mum's daughter in the movie "Kung-Fu Master". Doillon writes her own songs, plays the guitar and sings in her albums. She is also the face of Givency, the fashion house. To re-create this outfit I went on many websites. This included: Factorie, Jay Jays, Cotton On, Supre, Target and City Beach. I finally found this complete outfit you could actually buy and wear. The total cost of the whole outfit would be $115, but you might already have some of the basics, like the black flats and black wide rim hat. The hat and the shoes are from Target and are both $10 and the shirt is also from Target for $25. The skirt is from City Beach for $40. The bag is from Factorie for $30. Hope you guys enjoyed this! This Saturday I will be making gingerbread cookies and showing you guys how I did it.
