Hey guys I thought I would try something different, so this is how you make gingerbread cookies. Ingredients- 1/2 a cup of butter - 1/2 a cup of brown sugar - 1/2 a cup of golden syrup - 1 egg (separated) - 2 and a 1/2 cups of plain flour - 1 tablespoon of ground ginger - 1 teaspoon of mixed spice - 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda - Icing Sugar -Food Colouring -Sprinkles and other stuff to decorate. MethodStep 1 Preheat the oven to 180' Celcius. Step 2 Using an electric mixer, mix the butter (1/2 cup) and the brown sugar (1/2 cup) together, until it looks pale and creamy. Step 3 Add in the golden syrup (1/2 cup) and an egg yolk into the mix. Mix until combined. Step 4 Now stir in the flour (2 1/2 cups) , ginger (1 tablespoon), mixed spice(1 teaspoon) and bicarbonate of soda (1 teaspoon). Don't use the electric mixer for this part. Step 5 Make sure you knead the dough for a bit to make sure everything is combined. It might seem that it won't work, but you just have to stay with it. You can leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes, but I decided not to. Step 6 Now is the fun part. Roll out half your dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin. Then use cookie cutters to cut out some shapes. Step 7 Now you want to measure out your gingerbread house. You will need seven squares and I decided to do 5cm x 5cm for them. Cut one of the squares in half to make triangles for the roof. Step 8 Once you have all your shapes cut out, put them in the oven for 10 minutes. When they finish turn off the oven and leave them in there to harden. Then take them out and put them on a cooling rack and wait for them to completely dry before putting the icing on them. Step 8 Now we are going to make the icing. Get the left over egg white from before and about a cup or so of icing sugar into an electric mixer, and mix until combined. Step 9 Get a cup and a zip lock bag and place the bag into the cup. Then put the icing into the cup. Step 10 Cut a small hole in the end of the icing bag. Now you can start to decorate and put together your gingerbread house. I decorated everything with some coloured icing before I started to join it together, but I recommend doing this after you have assembled the house. Step 11 Now you want to stick two of the sides together with icing. This is quite hard to do, so when you have balanced the two sides, put it into the fridge for at least 15 minutes to harden the icing. Step 12 After taking your house after the fridge, you now need to attach one or both of the other sides. This could take some time, but it will be worth it. Then after you have balanced them, you should put it all back into the fridge. Step 13 Now that you have all the sides connected you can start to connect the roof. So first you want to connect the triangles. I couldn't do this because I didn't leave the house in the fridge for long enough. So once you connect the triangles, put it in the fridge again. If you can't connect the triangles, then you can just put one of the roof pieces on top of the house. Step 14 So once you have the triangles connected now you want to connect the roof pieces to the triangles. So just put some icing on the edges and place on the roof pieces. I don't have any photos of this because I didn't do this. Step 15 Now you can put white icing all over the house, like I did, to give a snowed on look. Hope you guys enjoyed this, even though my ginger bread house didn't turn out very good, but that's okay. :)

This is for an assignment, but I thought I would upload it here. So what I decided to do is find a french outfit, and re-create. I set a $100 budget and I had to get all the pieces of clothing. I originally wanted to only use $50, but it was not enough. Before I decided on an outfit, I made an inspiration board This is the outfit I chose to recreate. Her name is Lou Doillon. She is a singer, model and actress. She was born on the 4th of September 1982, so she is now 33. Her dad is a director and her mum is a singer/actress. Her dad helped to start her career, by casting her in "Trop (Peu) d'Armour". She also got a role as her mum's daughter in the movie "Kung-Fu Master". Doillon writes her own songs, plays the guitar and sings in her albums. She is also the face of Givency, the fashion house. To re-create this outfit I went on many websites. This included: Factorie, Jay Jays, Cotton On, Supre, Target and City Beach. I finally found this complete outfit you could actually buy and wear. The total cost of the whole outfit would be $115, but you might already have some of the basics, like the black flats and black wide rim hat. The hat and the shoes are from Target and are both $10 and the shirt is also from Target for $25. The skirt is from City Beach for $40. The bag is from Factorie for $30. Hope you guys enjoyed this! This Saturday I will be making gingerbread cookies and showing you guys how I did it.
I thought this week I would start my Christmas posts! Every week up till Christmas, I will be doing one Christmas post! So this week I will start with part one of my Christmas Present Ideas. So all of these will be suited to different sorts of people and you can customise it as much as you want to suit the person you're giving them to. Movie Person PackSo first you want to decide what movie theme you're gonna choose. For this example I chose Star Wars. So what you want to get is: -The movie (so the whole Star Wars collection) -Microwave popcorn bags -A warm blanket -Lollies -A pop figure or anything related to the movie. You can choose any movie or tv show that you want to use for this idea. Music Person PackSo for the music person, you also need to pick a theme. Their favourite band or singer. For this example I chose Maroon 5. So what you want to get it: -Headphones -Cd/record (I chose Maroon 5) -T-shirt of their favourite band -Ipod (if that's in your budget) -Headphone securer Pamper KitFor the pamper kit you don't need a theme, but you need to know what sort of scents and colours the person likes. So you're gonna need: -A face mask -Bath bombs/bubble bars -Scented candle -Bath pillow -Nail polish -Nail polish remover Hope these ideas helped you guys! Also all of the photos have not been taken by me. I will be doing a part 2 and maybe 3 in a few weeks.
Hey guys, since last month's box had a $20 off voucher, I bought another box to review. It also had the Pilaten lipmask and the Jurlique Purely age-defying firming treatment mask, but I had already reviewed them, so I didn't think it was necessary to review them again. The total cost of this box was $29.95. 1. Chella Highlighting Pencil in Ivory Lace This is a very creamy eyeliner. It was easy to apply and was quite pigmented. The colour is good for a everyday look, as it makes your eyes look brighter. I give it a 8/10 2. Bioderma Sensiblo H2O I tried this makeup remover while wearing waterproof mascara and eyeliner, and it came off very easily. It also didn't burn my skin or eyes, so that is definitely a plus. I give it a 10/10 it was really good. 3. Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara This mascara is very good. I don't think it's waterproof, but that's okay. The brush is really nice, and it doesn't collect too much product. The formula is also very good and has a nice consistency. I give it a 10/10 4. Laqa & Co Lip Lube in the shade Beezlebub This Lip stick is bright and feels very soft when you apply it. It has a slight peppermint smell, which is good. It is easy to apply and has a great pink colour. But I probably wouldn't wear it often. It also comes off very easily. I give it an 7/10 5. Universal Beauty Tint Stick This tint was really vibrant and easy to apply. It also lasted for a while. I put it on and then ate dinner, and after I had finished, it was still there, just with less of a stain. It also smells like strawberries, which is a plus. I give it a 8/10 6. Eye of Horus Charcoal Obsidian Goddess Pencil. This eyeliner has very nice packaging. It also has a smudger, but it doesn't really work that well. The formula is very smooth and easy to apply. It also has some sparkles in it, so that looks cool. I give it a 8/10 7. Nip Fab Skin + Glycolic Fix When I first used this, it had a lot of product on it, which was good. It seems like it wouldn't exfoliate, but it surprisingly does. It leaves your face feeling very fresh and soft. I give it a 10/10 it was very good and I might consider repurchasing it. 8. Coastal Scents Brush This brush is really soft! It also works very well to apply eyeshadow. I give it a 9/10 I just want to thank you guys for 100 views last week! Hope you guys enjoy this post and have a great week!

Posters Put heaps of posters on your door! it looks really cool and you can use any sort of posters you want. 3. Put stuff on a photo frame This is very easy and helps to organises tables. It adds a clean touch to your table. Just put a photo frame down and put whatever you want on it. 4. Use a tub to store your extra blankets This is very easy. All you have to do is get a white tub and put your spare blankets inside! 5. Hang your clothes for the next day on a stand. I got this from Ikea. It was very cheap and it looks great in my room. you can put whatever you want on it. Hope you guys enjoyed this post, don't forget to like and comment on this post. I will be taking requests, so if you have any ideas, comment them below, or use the contact page at the top.
Since my hair is very thin and short, when I do a bun it's really small and doesn't look that nice. but with this method you can easy make your bun bigger, with only your hair, hair ties and bobby pins (if you need them) Step 1 So first you need to put your hair into a high pony tail. Step 2 We are now going to be doing a fish tail braid. So to do this split your hair into two pieces. Step 3 Then get a small piece of hair from one side of the two pieces Step 4 Take the small piece and put it onto the other side. Make sure you keep the piece secured. the you want to do the same thing, but from the side you just put a new piece of hair in. Step 5 Repeat until you have done all your hair. Step 6 Pull the braid to make it really big. Step 7 Put the braid in a bun shape like you normally would. use a hair tie and bobby pins to secure the plait. Hope this helped you guys! Sorry I uploaded this a bit late.
1. Wild by Troye Sivan This has been my favourite album this month and I've listened to it almost every day 😁I also watched the Blue Neighbourhood videos and they are really good too. 2. Girl online by Zoe Sugg I read this book in literally one day it was that good! It is only $14, which is a pretty good price. There is also a second one which is really good too. 3. L'oreal Manga Mascara This mascara is really good and I use it every day! It costs about $20, so that isn't a bad price. 4. Red Bubble This site has a lot of things you can buy, with lots of different designs. Phone cases, shirts, pillows , pretty much anything. You can find things with your favourite youtubers and bands on them. I have also bought my friends things from this site and they look very professional. 5. Extra white bubble mint gum It tastes good and freshens your breath at the same time! 6. Paris Hilton South Beach Body Spray This smells really good and was only $10! 7. Dan and Phil I only just started watching their videos this month and I am obsessed! I really recommend their channels. 8. Clueless I LOVE this movie and have watched it a few times this month. If you haven't seen you have to watch it! 9. Spinach and ricotta triangles I really really like these. I could eat a lot of these they are that good. (I didn't take this photo by the way) Hope you guys enjoyed my favourites for this month! I will be trying to do these monthly. Just wanted to let you all know that the pencil cases I made a few weeks ago are for sale. Not the specific ones in the post, but you can get a custom design for only $7! So if you go to my school, you can contact me and I can make you one.
1. Coastal Scents Blush Duo When I opened my bellabox sadly one side of the blush had leaked into the box. But I could still test it. One side of the blush was very pigmented and was a copper sort of colour. The other side was a more rosy pink colour. I think I would use the pink one more, as the copper one is too much. I give it a 5/10 as the quality isn't that good. 2. Neutrogena Oil-free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub I already had this at home and I really like it. It cleanses your face well and it smells just like grapefruit. I give it a 10/10 3. Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Nourishing Facial Water When I tried this my face burned slighly. It wasn't that effective either. But it smelt really nice. I give it a 2/10 4. QVS Shine Control Tissues The packaging is great and I like how there are a lot of sheets in this sample. The product itself is very good and removes a significant amount of shine. I give it a 10/10 5. Macadamia Natural Oil Luxurious Oil Treatment This smells really good! I love how soft it makes your hair feel. It also helps to defrizz your hair and that is always helpful. I give this a 9/10 I also got a Swarzkopf Shampoo, but not the conditioner. So next month I will have an extra review next month for the shampoo and the conditioner. This month the score out of 50 is 36/50. In this month's box I also got a $20 off voucher for the bellabox website, because it is their 4th birthday!
